BAPTIST FOUNDATION OF COLORADO ESTATE PLANNING WORKSHOP
& DINNER, Sept. 24,Orchard Mesa Baptist Church, Gr. Junction
Recent statistics show 50% of all people have done no estate planning. It is important to use your estate
assets to their fullest potential for your family and for His glory. Whether you estate is modest or
subtantial, you have a choise where your assets go at death. The Baptist Foundation of Colorado and
PhilanthroCorp are Christ-centered estate planning partners and invite you to attend the Estate Planning
Workshop and dinner on Friday, September 24, at Orchard Mesa Baptist Church, 2748 B 1/2 Road, in
Grand Junction. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the workshop. Please RSVP to Jan
Loser at 1-888-771-2480, ext. 230 in order that we may plan for the dinner and have sufficient materials
for all who attend.

HOLY HIP HOP IN THE PARK, September 25, Rocket Park, Gr. Junction
Gather your family and some friends and come to Rocket Park, Orchard & N. 26th Street, on Saturday,
September 25th. All the fun begins at 1 p.m. and concludes at 4 p.m. featuring free food, gospel rap,
and special guests - Elmo from Sesame Street and Dora the Explorer. The event is sponsored by
Familyroom Fellowship as an outreach activity to engage the un-churched. Grand Valley Baptist Associstion
and Colorado Baptists are co-sponsors.

GVBA ANNUAL MEETING, Monday, October 11, Mesa View Bible Church, Mesa, CO
Mark your calendar for Monday, October 11, to attend the 54th Annual Meeting fo the Grand Valley Baptist
Association. Mesa View Bible Church will be our host church and Amani Bullock will bring the annual message.
Session I begins at 3:00 p.m. followed ty the evening meal. Session II begins at 6:30 p.m. All Grand Valley Baptists
are encouraged to attend, enjoy the fellowship and get the latest update on how the message of Christ is being
shared throughout the association.

ANNUAL MEETING OF THE COLORADO BAPTIST GENERAL CONVENTION,
& RefreshHER Women's Luncheon, October 18-20, Breckenridge, CO
Colorado Baptist will gather in Breckenridge for whoship, praise, networking and planning at the Beaver Run Resort
& Conference Center with Agape Outpost Chapel, Breckenridge, hosting the event. Pastor's Conference begins on Mon.,
October 18th, at 2 p.m. & the Annual Meeting on Tues. & Wed., Oct. 19-20. RefresHer Women's Luncheon is on Monday,
October 18th, at 11:30 a.m. Please register by Oct. 11 for the luncheon at www.coloradobaptists.org/refresher. Free
childcare (birth - 5 yrs) with pre-registration only. To make hotel reservations at Beaver Run Resort - call 1-800-525-2253
and refer to the Colorado Baptist Convention. Room rates, per night, are $99 for 2 dbl. beds and small sitting area.
Reservations must be made by September 17, 2010 to receive these rates. Note: The altitude of Breckenridge is over
9,000 ft. for those who experience altitude sickness.

Weekly PASTOR'S PRAYER TIME -
GVBA pastors are invited to participate in a weekly prayer time/book
discussion of Ed Stetzer's Comeback Churches. These meetings will
take place each Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the New Covenant Baptist
Church building on Patterson Rd. in Clifton. If you need a book give
Kent a call at 241-7009. All pastors are welcome!
